Description
This is payment made to all fathers who are on paternity leave from work, provided that they have proof of employment, and evidence of legally acknowledging paternity, by having his name recorded on the birth certificate. The period of entitlement is 10 working days.

Eligibility
A man may be eligible to paternity benefit if he is a citizen of Seychelles or an expatriate with a valid GOP.

• Proof of confinement and expected confinement,
• Proof of employment,
• Valid ID Card,
• Birth certificate of the child.
