The Agency for Social Protection Praslin Office moves to a new location
The Agency for Social Protection’s (ASP) office which was previously located at the Horizon Complex Building in the Baie Ste Anne Praslin district has since the 30th June 2023 moved to a more strategic location, at the Pension Fund Complex in the Grand-Anse Praslin district.

The office was officially opened by the Designated Minister, Mr Jean-Francois Ferrari and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the ASP, Ms Brenda Morin in the presence of the Principal Secretary for Social Affairs, the Chief Executive Officer of the newly created Seychelles Home Care Agency, the Praslin office staff and other invitees https://www.nation.sc/articles/18468/asps-praslin-office-moves-to-grand-anse

The main purpose of the relocation of the ASP administrative office on Praslin is to bring the services being provided by ASP closer to other Government Service Providers such as Social Services, Employment Department, Immigration & Civil Status Department and the Seychelles Pension Fund itself. This will facilitate the lives of our clients accessing these services.
The CEO also stated that the new office is more spacious and customer friendly compared to the one at Baie Ste Anne, which therefore fits well with the various services being offered by the ASP.
The CEO also indicated that the ASP office in the District Administration Office of Baie Ste Anne will remain as well as at Grand-Anse Praslin.
The opening ceremony was also attended by a group of Praslin Secondary students who had the opportunity to learn about the various services being offered by the ASP through an informal discussion.
