Agency for Social Protection provides comprehensive assistance in accordance to its mandate by bringing
together specialists from various government departments and NGOs to work alongside the agency. The
significant benefits obtain from such working relationship helps us win the confidence of our customers,
partners and the public.
In customer relations, we hold to the principle of integrity with pragmatism, considering our customers’
needs first while at the same time providing them with flexible, rapid, and professional services.
ASP promises to do its upmost to provide its customers and partners with the most outstanding service
delivery. We will do our best to establish deep, trusting partnership with customers by taking every
problem seriously, and listen diligently and react promptly, ensuring that customers' needs are satisfied.In spite of all challenges we face, ASP will remain diligent in the areas of corporate governance,
operational efficiency and employee work satisfaction as we adhere to create a win-win situation with all
of our stakeholders.
The Agency for Social Protection came into existence in January 2012 following the merger of the then Social Security Fund and the Social Welfare Agency. The Agency offers statutory and non-statutory benefits and several schemes to all Seychellois citizens upon meeting the relevant criteria under a particular benefit category. Statutory benefits are covered under the Social Security Act, 2010. The most commonly known non-statutory benefit is welfare assistance.
